Responsibility
in Every Detail

From the origin of every material to the way a product is packaged, every decision at Ecora is made with accountability in mind.

Responsible Sourcing

We choose materials with care, prioritising responsible origins and transparent supply chains. Every source is considered for its impact on people, resources, and the environment.

Natural, traceable fibres

Organic cotton, jute, and bamboo sourced from certified suppliers with full chain-of-custody documentation.

No virgin plastics

All packaging is paper-based, recycled, or compostable. We have maintained a zero virgin plastic policy since founding.

Supplier accountability

Every supplier is assessed annually against social and environmental standards. We do not work with suppliers who cannot demonstrate responsible practices.

Thoughtful Design

Design at ECORA begins with purpose. Each form is shaped by function, longevity, and restraint — ensuring that what we create remains useful, relevant, and considered over time.

Form follows function

Every dimension, weight, and detail serves a purpose. Decorative complexity is eliminated unless it serves the user.

Designed for longevity

We prototype extensively to ensure durability. A product that lasts five years has a fraction of the environmental cost of one that lasts five months.

Brand integration, not imposition

Custom branding is integrated into the product design — not applied as an afterthought. Your logo belongs where it earns its place.

Responsible Production

Our production process is guided by efficiency and accountability. We work to reduce waste, refine methods, and uphold standards that respect both craftsmanship and the resources involved.

Waste reduction at every stage

Material offcuts are repurposed where possible. Production runs are calculated precisely to avoid overstock and waste.

Fair working conditions

All production partners are required to meet international labour standards. We conduct regular audits and maintain direct relationships with our makers.

Carbon-conscious logistics

We consolidate shipments, favour regional suppliers where viable, and offset unavoidable emissions through verified programmes.

Frequently asked about our process

Our organic cotton carries GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification. Bamboo products are sourced from FSC-certified operations. All paper packaging is FSC-certified. We provide full certification documentation upon request for corporate orders.
Yes. For corporate orders above a minimum quantity, we provide a full supply chain disclosure document — including country of origin for each material, production facility details, and certification numbers. Transparency is not optional for us.
We consolidate shipments to reduce freight frequency, prioritise sea freight over air where timelines allow, and offset unavoidable emissions through Gold Standard-verified carbon removal projects. Shipping emission summaries are available for large orders.
Canvas and fabric offcuts are used in smaller pouches, labels, and packaging inserts. Surplus stock is donated to community organisations or sold through a clearance channel. We do not landfill product.
